Well, I've had this a while...

So, I have become inspired recently....

It seems like almost everyone I know updates the world on a daily/weekly basis via their personal blog. "How darling" I often think to myself as I take a gander on a (almost) regular basis. A lot of people that are close to my heart live more than a short jaunt away, so it is hard for me to connect with them in such a way that they can clearly see how my life is going, so I am here.....ready to join the fad....So, hello blog world. Let's begin!

As a lot of you know, Forrest and I recently added a new addition to our family....a (not for long) little puppy named Dennis. He is a yellow lab/retriever and we (most of the time) love him to pieces!!! He is so cuddly and loves to be held. He also has found dumping his food on the floor and eating it up to be a hobby, along with a little tug-of-war.

Here is a picture of the cuddly, furry creature....

He doesn't have a mean bark yet (or even a bark to speak of) to scare away strangers, but he does have a nasty yelp. May the Lord bless the one who invented the box fan to drown out those yelps that last 10 minutes after we put him in his little crate at night for bed time. Forrest and him have become fast friends, and I rekon he is going to love Forrest a lot more than me because he just isn't as respectful and obedient when I tell him "no." He seems to know Forrest means business when he tells him. Hopefully our sweet loveable bundle of joy will tie us over until (someday, God willing) we are blessed with a human bundle of joy.
